Holden's First Christmas!

I wish Matt would of been off, but all and all we had a great day. Holden got soooo many toys. He's a spoiled little boy. LOL. It was a very nice day. Here are some pictures I took:

We FINALLY got some pictures made!! I think they turned out pretty good. Holden was tired, but he was really good.

...How lovely are your branches.... We decorated our tree today. We got some ornaments at Walmart and at Target. I can honestly say it is the most beautiful tree I have ever had. I love it! Holden is now a lot more interested in the tree! He keeps trying to get the balls.

my baby is sick.

Yep. He has a runny nose. His nose is never runny unless he's getting sick. Hopefully it's nothing really bad. He goes next week to get the 2nd dose of his flu shot.

On another note: I might have a job, maybe.. UMC called me yesterday and set up an interview. Hopefully it goes well. The bad thing is if I get the job we can't go to Colorado for Thankgiving.:-( The woman who called me kind of gave me a mini-interview over the phone. She asked if I would be willing to work 4 hours on holidays. She said Thanksgiving is covered, but that would be just one day. I would have to work Wednesday and Friday...

2 Firsts ..

Today Holden got his first tooth brush:-) and his first boo-boo:-(. He was playing with daddy's straw and fell. The straw jabbed him in the face. Poor baby.

Holden is TERRIFIED of the mop.

We bought a mop at the store last night. He was fine with it there...he was even playing with it. However this morning I picked it up. Holden was crawling on the floor nearby and FREAKED OUT. I've never seen him so scared.

Sucky afternoon

My mom and dad took Holden and I to Rosa's. Afterwards we went to Building Blocks and Big Lots. I was driving and on the way back from Big Lots the car started acting weird. I got off of the loop. The car broke down right at the intersection! My dad and mom pushed the car while I steered. Their car is a POS!

He stood!

Holden stood unassisted for a few seconds today. :-)

Chandler "Champ" Bing

He is getting better! Last night he was even trying to play with Toby. YAY! Matt has nicknamed him "Champ" :-).

Baby's First Halloween

We went trick-or-treating with Aunt Angie, Uncle Eddie, and Jesse. We didn't go to very many houses since it was kind of cold, but we still had fun.

Holden got 2 new teeth. Their his top ones...now he has opposing teeth! We noticed it at his dr.'s appointment on Oct. 18th. I felt of his gums and could feel them. Now they are finally pokin' through.

poor Chandler

Chandler is sick. I don't know what it is. He's been throwing up since Tues. night. He ate some raw meat on Monday-he went through the trash. That's the only thing I can think of that might be causing this. I hope it's nothing serious.... I'm scared. He's been so sluggish. When he walks he's all slunched over. We need to take him to the vet, but we don't have any money. Tomorrow I'm suppose to go to lunch w/ my mom, or something. So we'll see how it is and if I feel like he's not improving I'll ask her to take him to the vet.

**Update**
Chandy's still sick:-( The vet gave us a lot of medicine. I'm feeding him every 3 hours, giving him water, giving him meds, and lots of love......trying to get him better!

another day

Today I ordered 50 pictures from Winkflash for only 99¢. Yesss! Now I can finally start a photo album for Holden, and maybe a scrapbook. I also needed pictures to put on his calendar and his baby book.

Holden has been fussy today. He already cut his 2 top teeth just a few days ago. Maybe they're still bothering him. Or maybe he's cutting some more. I guess we'll see.

We were brave tonight (or just plain nuts). We let him eat a plate of spaghetti by himself. It was so hilarious when we first put the plate down he just looked at us like, "What the hell are you doing!". He didn't hesitate for long though. He loved it!! I'll post pictures later.

Things that I love about you

I wanted to take this time to make a list of the little things that I adore about you.


1) The grunting noise you make when you're not pleased about something.
2) How you " rock" when you hear music.
3) Your laugh.
4) When you stick your hand out for Toby to lick. You laugh, move your hand, and then do it again. Little Stinker!
5) How you talk yourself to sleep at night.
6) How you reach for Toby (stuffed animal) when we put you in your crib. And when we give him to you, you cuddle him.
