Thanksgivings Past

I thought it would be fun to post pictures about Thanksgivings we have had in the past. Then I remembered that I only had pictures from this Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving 2005. Doh.

Well nevertheless let me show some comparion pictures. It amazes me how much he has changed.

Now

Then

A lot has changed.
For one, he has lost his baby fat.:-(
But it's nice to see his eating technique hasn't changed a bit. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving! (a few days late)

It's been snowing off an on for the last few days. Thanksgiving was no exception. Here is our house on Thanksgiving Day:

We had our Thanksgiving meal at my parent's house. While waiting for the food to be ready we (or let me say Matt, Dad, and Ryan) watched the Dallas game. Here is Frazier enjoying his Thanksgiving on Matt's lap. LOL

The food was very delicious. Holden thought so too. He ate so much food. He especially liked the ham. Turkey was a close second.

And here he is being his goofy self... Mashed potatoes, anyone? :-)

Before leaving my parent's we had some dessert..yummmm!

The next day (black Friday) me and Matt went shopping. It was crazy but fun. We didn't get much because the deals didn't seem as good this year, but we were able to mark a few Christmas gifts off our list.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Guess what we got yesterday??

A gym membership!!!

I'm so excited! We went on a tour last night and the gym is so nice. Holden stayed in the daycare while we went on a tour. I didn't think he would go because he's not keen on leaving us, but once he saw the toys off he went. LOL. There is a huge jungle gym in the daycare area. No wonder when we picked him up after the tour he didn't want to leave.

We were so impressed with the gym. There are 2 pools (a kiddie one and a bigger one, both of which are decked out with slides and other fun stuff!) Most of the equipment comes with little televisions attached so you can hookup your headsets and watch tv! How neat is that? We're meeting with a personal trainer next Friday. I've never done that before, should be interesting!

Anyway just wanted to share my excitement. We are going to the gym tonight, though just to use the pool. LOL. We're starting out slow...

Halloween and More

Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything. So I thought I would give a quick update and also share some Halloween pictures.

A few weeks ago we went to Ft. Worth and Louisiana again. The doctor's appointment didn't go so great since my doctor WASN'T THERE. You can read more about that on my Lyme Disease blog.

I woke up the next morning not in the best of moods because of the appointment and our sleeping arrangement. Ugh! Note to self: Next time get 2 beds!

We did manage to have a good time before leaving Louisiana. We went to the zoo in Alexandria.

We saw...

Lions

and Tigers (Funny well actually scary story about this tiger. I guess he didn't like me looking at him and he pounced at the glass. Nearly gave me heart attack and scared the begeezes out of Holden.)

and Bears

Oh My.

We also got to visit with my family which I don't see that often, so the trip certainly wasn't a waste. And I will be going to see the Louisiana doctor again, though not until February.

Now for the Halloween spill.

Holden had a GREAT time. He dressed as a spider. It was the cutest costume. We went to the mall which turned out to be a better experience than last year. Last year Mr. Independent didn't want to hold our hand but rather run around like a chicken with his head cut off (which actually was quite fitting since he was dressed as a chicken, LOL.)

Now for some pictures:

Sitting on top of Daddy's car before going into the mall.

Heading back to the car to go home and Trick-or-treat some more. This is such a cute picture... too bad his face is washed out. Darn it!!!

We went home to trick-or-treat around our 'hood. We got a lot more candy and I think Holden enjoyed trick-or-treating outside. He was so cute. He couldn't (or more like wouldn't) say "Trick or Treat" instead he would just say "Treat".

So that was our Halloween. I've got to go because a freshly cooked apple pie is calling my name. YUMMM!!!!
