Halloween and More

Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything. So I thought I would give a quick update and also share some Halloween pictures.

A few weeks ago we went to Ft. Worth and Louisiana again. The doctor's appointment didn't go so great since my doctor WASN'T THERE. You can read more about that on my Lyme Disease blog.

I woke up the next morning not in the best of moods because of the appointment and our sleeping arrangement. Ugh! Note to self: Next time get 2 beds!

We did manage to have a good time before leaving Louisiana. We went to the zoo in Alexandria.

We saw...

Lions

and Tigers (Funny well actually scary story about this tiger. I guess he didn't like me looking at him and he pounced at the glass. Nearly gave me heart attack and scared the begeezes out of Holden.)

and Bears

Oh My.

We also got to visit with my family which I don't see that often, so the trip certainly wasn't a waste. And I will be going to see the Louisiana doctor again, though not until February.

Now for the Halloween spill.

Holden had a GREAT time. He dressed as a spider. It was the cutest costume. We went to the mall which turned out to be a better experience than last year. Last year Mr. Independent didn't want to hold our hand but rather run around like a chicken with his head cut off (which actually was quite fitting since he was dressed as a chicken, LOL.)

Now for some pictures:

Sitting on top of Daddy's car before going into the mall.

Heading back to the car to go home and Trick-or-treat some more. This is such a cute picture... too bad his face is washed out. Darn it!!!

We went home to trick-or-treat around our 'hood. We got a lot more candy and I think Holden enjoyed trick-or-treating outside. He was so cute. He couldn't (or more like wouldn't) say "Trick or Treat" instead he would just say "Treat".

So that was our Halloween. I've got to go because a freshly cooked apple pie is calling my name. YUMMM!!!!
